Seven Davis Jr.

Hailing from Houston, Seven Davis Jr. is a singer, songwriter and producer. He trained as a gospel and jazz singer while growing up in California, as he was influenced by Prince, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Other earlier influences include classical artists like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Burt Bacharach. As Seven Davis Jr. evolved, he began listening to various artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Portishead, The Fugees, The Beatles, Tricky, Bjork, J Dilla, Heatwave, Earth Wind & Fire and various Motown artists. Shortly after, he founded himself in San Francisco’s electronic underground with house music and jungle — changing his life and sound forever. He released his EP, “One (Special Edition)” on his own label, Secret Angels, in 2021.
