Munira Ahmed is a native New Yorker whose likeness is most easily identifiable as the “Face of the Resistance” — the subject of the ‘We the People’ art series created by Amplifier and artist Shepard Fairey, derived from Ridwan Adhami’s I’ Am America’ photograph. She is a long-time social justice advocate with bylines as an op-ed columnist, public speaker, photo-documentarian, solo traveler, and human rights case interpreter. She most recently became partnerships manager at Matter Unlimited.
