Koku Gonza is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, yoga lover, and natural beauty advocate hailing from Brooklyn, NY. She has performed at Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, Sunset On The Hudson and WOW Music Festival in New York, Zuri Zanzibar in Tanzania, and Club Cassio in China. As an independent musician, she finds inspiration in beauty from her Tanzanian roots. Often compared to the sultry international vibes of Sade, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Miriam Makeba, she has released five independent music projects, including her current EP, “Zanzibar”.
