Karlala, best known as the proprietor of the bright pink sound system seen all over NYC, grew up amidst the San Francisco Bay Area rave explosion of 1990s before moving to NYC in 2003 and has been close to the music ever since as a dancer, producer, DJ, sound engineer, synth designer, and organizer as one third of the party Sweet Kicks.
