Grammy-nominated & Billboard charting saxophonist and music producer, FKAjazz (Samir Zarif) was born & raised in Houston, TX. Prior to becoming “FKAjazz,” he recorded, toured and performed as a saxophonist with such luminaries as Nicholas Payton, Jill Scott, DJ Jazzy Jay, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and Miguel Zenón. In 2016, he debuted as “FKAjazz” at New York City’s Webster Hall, and released his first album “Stereotype Threat” in 2017.
