Erika Hamilton also known as Erika The DJ, started DJing professionally while she was a student at Hunter College in the mid 2000s. She has remained a fixture in the NYC nightlife circuit for over 15 years. Her experiences range from the Old School Jam in Harlem, to the WNBA All Star weekend in Las Vegas, SneakerCon in Osaka and many different private celebrity events. Her clients have included The New York Knicks, Marc Anthony, Donna Karan, Wendy Williams, Bobby Flay, MGM Grand, NBC, ABC, NARS cosmetics, NIKE, Brooklyn Museum and many more. Erika has been featured in Vogue magazine, Fader magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time Out NY, Paper Magazine, and on several different blogs and podcasts. She has also DJ’d opening sets for Ne-Yo, Riff Raff, and Maino. Prior to the Covid 19 pandemic, Erika held weekly and monthly residencies in New York City at The W Hotel, The James Hotel, Magic Hour, GoldBar, The Skylark, Soho House and Skyroom.
