Drew Anderson

Drew Anderson is a NYC-based jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader. He has performed with historic jazz artists — the late Randy Weston, Cándido Camero Guerra, Reggie Workman, and Charles Tolliver — as well as with vanguard contemporaries like Ulysses Owens Jr., Jerome Jennings, Christopher McBride, Omar Hakim, and Endea Owens. He has performed at The Jazz standard, Small’s, Minton’s, New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the National Jazz Museum of Harlem, and at internationally-celebrated venues like Dizzy’s Club in New York and Sculler’s in Boston. Drew is a versatile musician, appearing with the artist Solange — at the Guggenheim Museum, Panorama Festival, Afropunk, Dave Chappelle’s Live From Radio City, and Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival — as well at the Kennedy Center with Sun Ra’s Arkestra.
