Born and raised in the Bronx, Drea has always had a creative spirit but more importantly, a passion for helping others. She began her baking business as a “side hustle” and quickly transitioned the company to vegan as a way to address the needs of several friends/family with dietary restrictions. The Uptown Vegan offers celebration cakes, cookies and other confections, all 100% vegan (gluten-free by request), and has been featured on VegOut and VoyageATL. A former banker, Drea has channeled her passion for meeting the needs of others into a blossoming business. Outside of baking, her interests include fitness and listening to music.
